The Miage – Bionnassay – Mont Blanc Traverse is an exceptional climb, regarded as one of the most aesthetic and prestigious in the Alps. This complete route connects the Aiguille de la Bérangère to the Dômes de Miage, then to the Aiguille de Bionnassay, before reaching the Bosses ridge to Mont Blanc.

Over four days, you will traverse a series of snowy and mixed ridges, experience the isolated high-mountain atmosphere, and spend the night in legendary huts such as Conscrits, Durier, and Goûter. Each stage offers a spectacular panorama of the massif’s iconic peaks, from the Dôme du Goûter to the Grandes Jorasses.

This alpine journey requires extensive experience and excellent physical condition. It is a demanding and grand adventure, symbolizing committed mountaineering.

Physical and technical level

A sustained ridge climb requiring solid mountaineering experience. Thorough preparation is essential for this ascent, which is aimed at very fit individuals. You may be walking for up to around 12 hours per day, so you should prepare by practicing long-duration cardio exercises. Endurance sports: cycling, running.

And don’t forget that for 4 days you will be hiking with an 8-kilogram backpack, which significantly increases the effort required, so during your training outings, make sure to walk with this additional weight.

You will be traveling on a high-mountain route and must be aware of the hazards associated with this activity (crevasses, serac fall, rockfall, avalanches, very low temperatures). We are available to answer any questions you may have.
