Details

In the heart of the Val Montjoie, our full-day hikes offer a deeper and more committed immersion into the alpine environment. Designed to allow time for exploration, these outings reach more remote areas, cross high mountain cols, follow panoramic ridges, or lead to lakes nestled among the peaks.

Throughout the day, hiking becomes a true experience: observing wildlife and alpine flora, reading the landscape, discovering mountain heritage, and taking contemplative breaks all shape the itinerary. More athletic participants can commit to more sustained routes with greater elevation gain, while other itineraries favor a gentler pace and the richness of discovery.

Some excursions take place within the Réserve naturelle nationale des Contamines-Montjoie, an exceptional natural area where biodiversity thrives. These outings provide an opportunity to deepen your understanding of alpine environments and the challenges involved in their preservation.

Longer, more immersive, and more varied, our full-day hikes invite you to experience the mountains in all their dimensions: athletic, natural, and emotional. A complete experience for those who wish to explore the Val Montjoie in depth and fully appreciate its scale and character.

Be sure to bring proper hiking boots—high-shaft for good ankle support and waterproof; no sneakers or low-cut shoes.
