The day before – Welcome in Saint-Gervais
Meet at 6:30 pm at the Saint-Gervais guides’ office to meet your guide, check the equipment, and prepare the outing.
Day 1 – Snowshoe Glacier Hike (3,600 m)
Departure from Saint-Gervais to Entrèves in Italy (50-minute drive). Cable car ascent to Pointe Helbronner (3,462 m). Snowshoe glacier hike across the upper glaciers of the Mer de Glace, at the foot of the Tour Ronde. An ideal and accessible discovery of the high mountains. Return by gondola, descent to Entrèves, and drive back to Saint-Gervais in the late afternoon.
The guides may adjust the itinerary according to the weather, mountain conditions, and participants’ abilities.
The 3,600 m snowshoe glacier hike offers a first immersion in the high mountains in a magnificent setting. From Pointe Helbronner, you’ll travel across the glaciers of the Mont Blanc range, accompanied by a high-mountain guide who will teach you the basics of safe progression.
This route, with no technical difficulties, is ideal for discovering the atmosphere of high altitude: ice and snow landscapes, proximity to iconic peaks such as the Tour Ronde and the Dent du Géant, and spectacular panoramas over the south faces of Mont Blanc.
A unique experience, both accessible and unforgettable, for anyone wishing to savor the magic of the glaciers in winter.
Group outings: every Friday from December to mid-April, depending on conditions.

Repatriation

Cancellation
We also offer optional “cancellation” insurance at a rate of €12/day. This insurance does not take into account the sporting nature of our trips. It must be purchased at the time of registration to take effect.
As a reminder, cancellation insurance covers you from the moment you register until the start of your trip if something happens and you cannot attend. We apply cancellation fees as specified on our registration form and in our terms of sale. These fees may be reimbursed by the cancellation insurance if your reason for cancelling is covered.
If you pay by credit card, feel free to check the insurance included with it.
