Details

The mountaineering initiation course at the Torino refuge is a perfect experience for your first steps in the high mountains. Over two days, you’ll be guided along accessible yet varied routes, learning to use crampons, an ice axe, and safety techniques on glaciers and rocky terrain.
The Pointe Helbronner area, at over 3,400 m, offers ideal ground for progression: the Glacier du Géant, easy ridges, and natural viewpoints over the surrounding peaks. The Torino refuge (3,375 m), comfortable and panoramic, serves as a high-altitude base to explore the Aiguilles Marbrées, the Aiguilles d’Entrèves, or the Petit Flambeau.
This educational and inspiring course paves the way for future, more committing ascents in the Mont Blanc range.
