Details

This snowshoe hike to the Refuge des Prés immerses you in the winter magic of the Mont Blanc range. Guided by a mountain leader, you’ll explore the Contamines-Montjoie nature reserve, a protected area where nature reveals all its beauty: fir forests, frozen peat bogs, and alpine meadows resting under the snow.

The route leads to the newly renovated Refuge des Prés (1935 m), nestled opposite the Dômes de Miage and the Aiguille de Bionnassay. After a friendly break with a hot drink, the day continues with a short dusk outing to watch the sunset over the snowy peaks.
