Meet your guide in the early morning for an introduction to the equipment and safety instructions (use of the avalanche beacon, movement techniques, kick turns).
The ascent is done at a steady pace on a route suitable for beginners, alternating forest sections, bowls, and wide snow-covered areas.
The guide shares advice on managing effort, reading the terrain, and finding the best track.
A friendly picnic at altitude offers a chance to recharge while enjoying views of the Mont Blanc massif.
The afternoon is dedicated to the descent: learning the right reflexes on ungroomed snow, enjoying the glide, and experiencing your first feelings of freedom.
Return to the valley in the afternoon, followed by a debrief, discussion of the techniques covered, and advice for progressing further.
The guide may modify the program depending on the weather conditions, mountain conditions, and the participants’ level.
