Details

The Bionnassay is an iconic summit, renowned for the purity of its ridge and its unique alpine atmosphere. Reserved for experienced mountaineers, its traverse is among the finest in the Mont Blanc massif.

Over two days of climbing, you will follow sharp, technical snow ridges, negotiate airy passages, and progress through a high-altitude environment on the doorstep of Mont Blanc. The remoteness of the route and the technical nature of certain sections make it a rare adventure, where trust and teamwork with your guide are essential.

From the summit, an exceptional panorama opens before you: the Dômes de Miage, Aiguille du Goûter, Mont Blanc, the Grandes Jorasses, and the Swiss ranges. A demanding experience reserved for seasoned mountaineers seeking a legendary route.

Directly on our website or using the dated and signed registration form, accompanied by a 40% deposit and any optional insurance fees. The balance must be paid 60 days before departure.

Supervision and participants

Maximum 1 person per guide. You will be supervised by a mountain guide.

Physical and technical level

A sustained ridge climb requiring solid mountaineering experience. Good preparation is essential for this ascent; it is intended for very fit individuals. You may be walking for up to about 12 hours per day, so you must prepare by doing long-duration cardio training. Endurance sports: cycling, running.

And remember that for 2 days you will be walking with an 8-kilogram backpack, which significantly increases the effort required, so during your training outings practice hiking with this additional weight.

You will be traveling on a high-mountain route and must be aware of the hazards associated with this activity (crevasses, serac fall, rockfall, avalanches, very low temperatures). We are available to answer any questions you may have.
