The day before – Welcome in Saint-Gervais
Meeting at 6:30 p.m. at the Saint-Gervais guides’ office to meet your guide and prepare for the outing.
Day 1 – Traverse of the Aiguilles Marbrées (3,535 m)
Early departure from Saint-Gervais to Courmayeur (approximately 45 minutes by car). From the Skyway Monte Bianco station, take the cable car up to Pointe Helbronner (3,462 m).
From there, easy access leads onto the Géant Glacier before reaching the Aiguilles Marbrées Ridge. Depending on conditions and skill level, the route can be done as an out-and-back or a full traverse. This mixed route combines snow travel and rock sections, perfect for learning alpine climbing techniques.
Throughout the climb, the atmosphere is magnificent: views of the Grandes Jorasses, the Rochefort Ridge, and the full Peuterey Ridge on Mont Blanc. Return to Courmayeur by cable car in the early afternoon.
The guides may adjust the program according to the weather, mountain conditions, and the participants’ skill level.
The ascent of the Aiguilles Marbrées (3,535 m) is a mixed climb, ideal for discovering high-altitude alpine climbing. Starting from Pointe Helbronner, accessible by cable car from Courmayeur, it combines quick access with a varied route, alternating snow travel and rock sections.
The Aiguilles Marbrées Ridge offers a complete experience, where rope-team and mixed climbing techniques are applied in a gentle progression. Depending on conditions, the climb can be done as a traverse or an out-and-back, always under the guidance of a high-mountain guide.
Beyond the technical aspect, the setting is exceptional. Between the Géant Glacier, the Grandes Jorasses, the Rochefort Ridge, and the full Peuterey Ridge, the panorama is spectacular. A varied and accessible day of alpine climbing, perfect for progressing and experiencing the unique atmosphere of the Italian Mont Blanc massif.
In a group: every Tuesday, year-round depending on mountain conditions and lift openings.
Privately: daily, year-round depending on mountain conditions and lift openings.
